The Silence Kit's cover of "Winter" by The Cure. Remixed: July 2023.

The Cure's original was only released as a studio outtake / rough demo on the Three Imaginary Boys deluxe reissue. The Silence Kit set out to imagine a fully realized version of the song: what the Cure likely would/could have turned the song into if they had revisited it a few years later, rearranging the song in a style more reminiscent of the "Faith" or "Pornography" albums, and by piling on shoegaze guitars and ominous synths, while putting The Silence Kit's stamp on it.
